I found the pacing, the performances and the confessional nature of this portrait of Low (mainly Alan Sparhawk) really engaging. Mimi usually fades to the background unless she's singing in performance. Her candor in this documentary reveals her personality and her qualities that probably keep Sparhawk somewhat grounded.

For almost a month the film crew followed core-members, Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker, in their natural habitat: on tour, at home in Duluth, Minnesota, in their church community and as parents. In almost fifteen years Low became an institution in the independent and alternative scene.
