This song (referenced in the post title) by the (now Oscar winning) Glen Hansard and his primary band The Frames showcases the strength of their songwriting and the wonderful touch of Steve Albini, who records the band in a sparse, live-like sound. Listen for the volume reaching almost over-driven levels as the song continues... The rest of the album is delicate, sparse, and really quite beautiful.

I have only the most recent Frames album; wonder what will happen to the group if Glen continues to tour as the Swell Season... This is a great cut, will search out more Frames. Glen and Marketa have a date coming up to play the Paramount in Oakland, a great venue with good acoustics.Thanks. BerkBob

Yeah, I heard about the Paramount show. Glen sad that he was bring the frames as his backing band with the Swell Season,and that the Frames have only one date in the US this year -- sadly past. He said they were going to do another record in 2009.
