I've never listened to Modest Mouse. No reason why, just never did.
Then I heard the album "good news for people who love bad news" and now I'm obsessed. I listen to this cd religiously. I can't get enough.
Shout outs the the songs:
Satin in a coffin Bukowski Bury me with it
but all the rest pretty much rock too.
LISTEN TO MODEST MOUSE.

I saw Tub Ring at the Warehouse in La Crosse, Wisconsin while I was seeing another band, Awesome Car Funmaker, and I fell in love.
The performance was amazing, the songs were catchy as hell, and the music made my blood cells vibrate with excitement.
I think everyone needs to listen to them.
I'm going to see them for the second time this Wednesday, which I'm counting down the hours for.

i never listened to them even though i had a friend who knew about them for years before they were even big at all. ah well, i got into them eventually. i'm glad you're into ALL their albums, not just "Good News..." For me, nothing tops "The Moon & Antarctica" What'd you think of that one?
i'm not the biggest fan of 'the moon & antarctica' but i really really love building nothing out of something.. what are your favorite songs from m&a?
maybe it'll grow on you. i think it's a masterpiece, really. some of my faves are: "gravity rides everything," "tiny cities made of ashes," "3rd planet," "i came as a rat," etc.
on building nothing out of something, i like: "never ending math equation," "sleepwalkin," "grey ice water," "other people's lives."
