   hausfrauatu says I just saw this on "the Alternative" on VH1. I love that show. thank God For Tivo. They are playing lots of Mid-90's Brit pop. Blur had really really terrible haircuts around 1991. They played Hoodoo Gurus and The Sugarcubes and Morrisey and the Cure And INXS and Blondie and Iggy and...Aaaarrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh. It just rules so much. I am old. Fuck it.

   d0gstar says I love the Waterboys - Fisherman's Blues is my favorite, and that's why I nominated it for the MOG 501. All their stuff is good - Universal Hall, their most recent (I think) is particularly fine. It was recorded at Findhorn, a commune/experimental living place in Scotland.

   SamTheButcher says I've not really taken to the Waterboys as a whole...but this song...it's GLORIOUS. Transcendent. Blissful. Makes me wanna stand on a sea cliff with my arms out in the moonlight with the waves crashing.
