   ravillus says I'm not a huge Sinead fan, but that song speaks elegantly and in volumes about what the final phases of marriage are like. I wonder if the song would have as much of a visceral impact on me if I hadn't been through that myself. You never really do get over the death of what you thought was true love, in some ways. That song brings back a flood of feelings and memories I thought I'd buried for good. Oh well.

   thill says i have to soon write an ode to sinead o'connor on a post. mandinka is a great song and she is pregnant in the video. her first two albums are two of my favorite most important personally albums of all-time.
