samthebutcher asked us to name our favorite WHO song which made me think of some of my favorite stuff that is actually Townshend solo stuff. I do think that, as Townshend claimed in the latest WHO documentary, with Daltry Townshend met the perfect voice for his songs but I like his solo stuff as well as any of the who stuff.
This is probably one of my favorite Townshend solo songs. Maybe it is not all the mind-blowing and maybe compared to some of the WHO stuff it seems minor but something about it makes me want to listen to it again and again.
