Rumours of My Death Are Greatly Exagerrated

Summer vacation with all the kids home leaves very few spare minutes to myself so I haven't mogged since July? can it be nearly 3 months since my last post? Don't worry it is not like you all missed any great thoughts or feelings concerning music in the last several months...i think i was on a musical hiatus as well. My hats go off to satisfiedmind who through multiply has kept me up on what is going on musically--especially his best of 2007---Why haven't I been listening to the Kings of Leon? I have tickets to see Ryan Adams in Kalamazoo on Monday. For some reason I am lacking any real excitement to go. I think this is mainly because i lost my concert buddy, my daughter Ellyn, who is at college. Going by myself is kinda sad even though i have SECOND ROW seats sucka! anybody else out there going to see him on Monday?
