Decoy was founded over 8 years ago by Ian Chaplin and Philip Rex. Over that time they have evolved into one of the truly unique live Psy-Trance acts around today. They have performed regularly at Earthcore & Rainbow Serpent, as well as playing at St.Kilda festival, Earthdance in both Melbourne and Sydney, Winter and Summer solstice parties and most venues in and around Melbourne. They have produced three Ep's and many tracks for local labels such as Green Ant, Earthcore, and, Zenon (soon to be released). They also have two tracks on the latest Dance n Dust compilation Double D, a track on the Plusquam compilation Kodama, compiled by Dj So, as well as appearing on a recent Yellow Sunshine Explosion Goa compilation. The recently completed full length album "Not Responding To Light" (which received artist album of the month in the February Mushroom Magazine) was released in early 2006, and was mastered in Sweden by legendary producers Son Kite. Son Kite themselves described the music as innovative with a fresh sound. Add to that the fact that these guys are renowned players of their instruments, and it isn't hard to see why this is an act not to be missed! Decoy is: Ian Chaplin soprano sax & dj, Philip Rex acoustic bass.

Sounds good. So tell me, did you compile that list of reviews yourself? I'm just curious.
