Hey there everyone!!
Ive been meaning to post more and more on here but its so freaking hectic here that I just never get a chance. At the moment im incredibly busy with this new band called "Echo Lawrence".
We are a 3 piece consisting of Oisin Dillon on vocals, Declan O Connor on Drums and I, Kevin O Connor on bass and backing vocals.
Our major influences for this project are "Brand New", "Gang of Four" & "Biffy Clyro", Although we have just started playing together things are moving at an incredible pace, we have played The Roisin Dubh in Galway on our first gig which was awesome and are billed to play "Eamon Dorans" in Dublin on May 18th as part of the Garageland shows.
So im gonna post a song and would love to know what all you Moggers out there think because I know ye are the most unbiased people when it comes to music and will tell me exactly what ye reckon. If ye likey Ill upload a few more or you can add us on myspace or even say howdy!

So!! I havent been on MOG for a long time!! And after taking a quick look over my fav artists lists etc It must be nearly a year!! So......
Our family dog was put down today. His name was benji and we had him for like 15 years or something!! he was very old and he had to be put down cos he couldnt hold down food etc so basically Im feeling a bit shit at the moment. Im in work now trying to find a song/album that will cheer me up or at least distract me....I have no idea!!
At the moment Im listening to "Blood Red Shoes" album "Box Of Secrets" and im really loving it!! Ive just started playin in a new band and it is pretty much similar to what we are doing so Im gonna up a song off the album called "its Getting Boring By The Sea" Its a great track and its hard to pick a favourite or stand out track off this album but Im digging this song...so this ones for you Benji, You provided us with years of joy may you rest in peace!!

Well!! All I can say is WOW !! What a summer!! Not in a "Stand By Me-I'll never be the same after that summer" kind of summer but just an incredibly busy one in my own personal life aswell as my work life. To Be honest I feel like I've been continually slammed in the face since the start of July and now since our tourist season is over its back to good old solitude!! And even better Good Old MOG !!! How I have missed you and all you loverly Moggers out there!
So, What music has gotten me through the summer?? Well for a start........I cant remember most of the summer (remember, the whole being slammed in the face thing?? Well that causes amnesia of a sort) But what I can tell you is that at this very moment my ears are being caressed by:
Stars - "In The Bedroom After The War"
I love it!! It doesnt have the passion of the songs on "Set Yourself On Fire" but dammit they know how to make a record of catchy tunes!!
Dogs - Tall Stories From Under The Table
Jesusmaryandsaintjoseph I think Ive found my favourite album of the year!! And thats saying a lot. Every song is a winner if you like your rock music powerfully beautiful with choruses that just make you start thumping the air in joy!!!
