mog has changed a bit in the past couple of weeks i haven't been around.
but yeah, i got some dope new cds.
modest mouse...we were dead before the ship even sank.
well, i really love this stuff...even better than bad news. it reminds me of their old stuff a bit. yay!
muse...black holes and revelations.
alright, i adore the song starlight...and i really really like supermassive blackhole. i was not expecting that from muse at all...and i love it. its a song i could dance around to...if i wasnt so lazy, that is.
BRIGHT EYES!!!! Cassadaga
I basically crapped myself when i heard that bright eyes was coming out with a new cd...and not something just stuffed with b-sides and different versions of songs...woo! i gave the entire cd a listen through...and to me its all of bright eyes phases mixed into one. Clairaudients (Kill or Be Killed) started off with a staticy voice of a woman...which reminds me strongly of fevers and mirrors, for example. and no one would riot for less...it reminds me of landlocked blues in a way, a protest of the war...and four winds is totally i'm wide awake, it's morning as well. i just love saying no one would riot for less, which is a little odd, but i swell up with excitement whenever i say it and automatically have the urge to listen to the song. but yeah, i am in love with conor oberst...'nough said.
as tall as lions...self-titled.
okay i have actually only listened to one song on this cd but i like it a lot...listening through the whole album is on my list of things to do....and the song is love, love, love (love, love)...give it a listen!!
i need to buy...
1. hissing fauna, are you the destroyer? 2. sleeping at last...thank you wegz! i love 'em. 3.arcade fire...neon bible

My Trusted MOGs
I just got the old Arcade Fire and I fell in love, so I went and bought the Neon Bible the next day. I...err, I like the Funeral better just because its more poppy and cool and neat. I think I just have to let the Bible sink in some more. But then I also went and bought Harvest Moon by Neil Young. It brought back many childhood memories about going on long car trips... I'm glad you like Sleeping at last!
