WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

mog: (insert quirky phrase)

Posted over 2 years ago
i'd have to say i laughed quite a bit when i saw the new heading for mog.mog: because the web mostly sucks.hehe.what would your mogalistic catchphrase be?i need to buy some new cds. so far I have:the flaming lips: at war with the mystics...i have heard good and bad about this cd. however, i will go with the good because i love the lippies. the yeah yeah yeah song is awesome. and that is all the motivation i need to purcahse another one of their cds.the shins: wincing the night away (1/23)...i will most likely wet my pants on January 23, 2007. I have been waiting for this album ever since I read a short statement in Spin about their new album coming out (and this was a year ago). I am in love with Phantom Limb, and cannot stop listening to it. It is def. one of my favorite songs by them, EVER.bloc party: a weekend in the city (2/6)... i have also been waiting for some new bloc party. it seems like they took silent alarm and squeezed out everything they could from it, including a remix cd of the song on the album. time for some new stuff! i listened to the prayer, and it was alright. i think the cd that will grow on me, because silent alarm took a little bit for me to fully love. the prayer sounds mildly odd in comparision to silent alarm though....but i have faith in my favorite, brits.jenny lewis and the watson twins: rabbit fur coat...i totally borrowed a rilo kiley cd from a friend, as I have only downloaded a few of their songs in the past. I LOVE THE EXECUTION OF ALL THINGS!!! hehe. well anyways, i figured I would d/l a song by her new project, and i very much enjoyed it. so rabbit fur coat is it.any suggestions? i'm always bad at buying cds...when i go into the store, i automatically forget what i have been wanting to get for the past month, and end up buying a cd i didn't want to compensate for the one i forgot about....does this happen to anyone else besides me?:[ boo.

  1. Dale says Mine would be: MOG: You didn't really need to EAT, now did you? I've been hooked up to so much new music here, it's crazy. Anyway, if you haven't purchased Mew - And The Glass Handed Kites, get that, it's really wonderful.

  5. wegz says That totally always happens to me...I'll walk into a music store with what I want to get in mind, and then POOF its like they put some weird chemical in the air at music stores that makes you forget. Sometimes I find myself staring off into space at cd stores trying to get a mental picture of my ipod and what musicians are on it...Thats why I always go to the music store with a list in hand now, kinda like grocery shopping..hmmm. UHHH so Shins album is out in about 14 days!! I pre ordered it a while ago, I just hope it comes on the 23rd and not the day after. Oh and the new sparklehorse cd is good. You may like it. Its kinda slow...but nice.
