The Green, is a chillout-style electronica group formed in 2006 by producer Carlos Santiago of San Antonio, Texas. Loaded with an arsenal of beats, and a personal message to deliver, Santiago was introduced to vocalist/key player Anne Noel of Seattle through a mutual friend. Soon thereafter they completed work on the first Green album, titled "Emancipation". Released independently on July 25th, 2006, the album features 15 original songs, including 2005 Indie Song of the Year Nominee for the ambient instrumental, "The Kyoto Treaty".

Drawing on positive word of mouth within the electronic music scene, the Green expanded to 4 with the addition of Santiago's former bandmates from the acoustic rock band, Saving Dawn, percussionist, Chris Pantuso, and live dub specialist/vocalist Noom Srisunakorn. The combination of styles brought to the table by each member created an explosion of sound that hits on all cylanders, with tracks ranging from dubbed-out, chill-out beats, to Ibiza style club anthems, and funky, high energy tracks. The Green delivers an incredible fusion of styles and emotions that works well both as soundtrack and purely as song.
