Just joined right now. Glad to see others enjoy Andy Bey. Suggest you listen to the Horace Silver albums which feature Andy Bey's voice in breath-taking form. As for River Man, it even surpasses the Nick Drake original in my books...

I love him from his 70s funky jazz cuts on Gary Bartz records, his recent solo material, and some work he did with Karl Denson in the '90s, I will definately check his Horace Silver sides out. Cheers
