OK, so, at the 11th hour, thecandyman pulls through with a Song of the Week for the clamoring masses.And that song is..."You," Lloyd feat. Lil' WayneSo, the first time I heard this song (probably somewhere around Tuesday) I wasn't huge fan of it. Lloyd is not really a singer, more of a whiner, and Lil' Wayne is a victim of oversaturation, cuz that mothafucka is EVERYWHERE. But, I didn't hate it, and, that would come in handy for it later.I kept running into the song: first on MOG (thanks, mochasparty), then, somewhere on the Internets, and then, in NYC, where my cousin has mysteriously put it on her MP3 player... it was as if it was following me, urging me to make it song of the week. And, on top of all that, everytime I heard the song, I liked it more (except for Lil' Wayne's part. That rat-looking mothafucka needs to stop). So, after the chance encounters and the love that bloomed, I had no choice but to make it song of the week. Fate is a bitch, sometimes.
