WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Black Cab: Altamont Diary - CD Review

Black CabAltamont DiaryStickman RecordsAltamont Diary is Australia's Black Cab's debut album! This album was inspired by the Rolling Stones free show held at in December 1969 at the Altamont Speedway. I think this album is very creative with a lot electronic sound affects over the guitar and drum beats. Many of the songs remind me of music I used to listen to when I was in high school. I think they sound like classic rock, but with a new edge!Scott Brignano

  1. grazer says Well I've got this album and I like it, but I had no idea this band was Australian. Every now and then I am surprised when I hear that a band is Australian because to be honest I think most Australian music is over-rated. But this band isn't, so there you go. I suppose I should explain, I download 90 songs a month from eMusic, which is where I got this album, and I tend to not pay much attention to anything except whether the music is good or not.
