MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Artist:

josephine olausson really cuts the bs with a sharp knife in love is all's hyperactive album, nine times that same song. the music ain't shy to propose that everyday boredom and loneliness is hell's dungen. the quintet bring back post-punk's leading basslines, avoid over-sentimentality (phew!), and step right on the beat. the slow songs bring hives to the thoughtful but, sure, may cause a division of some laura lee from any glen, john or billy joe. jens they take it up to eleven. the coolest part of this album is the layout's allusion to the vinyl lifestyle, throwing all other technology into the shallow end. the repeats dont get tiresome, but only draw one into more and more of the melody. jose!
