
I've really been enjoying the book
The Cook's Encyclopedia of Thirty Minute Cooking by Jenni Fleetwood. I just became the first to review it over at amazon - am I the only one who enjoys being the first reviewer of something? I think I received it as a gift, and I'd recommend it as a good one.I bought my first santoku knife last week, which I'm psyched about. It works great for dicing, chopping, etc. I still have a rough time convincing myself to drop $300 dollars on a knife - this cost about a tenth of that - but it is good quality: well built, well balanced, holds an edge. Now, after dinner and desert, and a snifter off my new bottle of Hennessy, I'm ready to hit the sack and dream happy thoughts about a girl.
