Anyone else here like Coheed and Cambria as much as me? Anyone here know the story in the albums? Anyone else buy the comics and graphic novels? I still have yet to find another person who knows about the story, the keywork, the fence, the monSTAR, the I.R.O-Bot, the prize fighter inferno.Someone else has to be, right? Maybe it's the story that captivated me. Maybe it's the sound. Maybe it's the big hair. I still listen to their first album all the time. There are a few songs I could pick to show, but I think this one really conveys how the lead singers voice is really the driving force. This is Claudio Sanchez performing The Light & The Glass from their second album. Just him and a guitar. Just listen to how his voice peaks around the 6 minute mark.I would recommend checking out more of their music to get a better idea of how they work together as somewhat of an Arena Rock Hair Metal band. But at the same time this band is all about the sci-fi story written by the lead singer, following the journey of Coheed and Cambria and their children.Recommended Tracks:"Time Consumer":http://youtube.com/watch?v=tMM0_mQGXpQ (first song I heard by them)"Delerium Trigger":http://youtube.com/watch?v=6relaZBDacI (favorite CO/CA song)"Devil in Jersey City":http://youtube.com/watch?v=w6lzeormF9M"In Keeping Secrets...":http://youtube.com/watch?v=HZBX9pPAvKQ (This is an awesome 9 minute long anthem, highly recommended)There are a few more, but that should hold you over for awhile. All videos are from DVDs so they are professionally shot and recorded. CO/CA to me is much better live because in the studio, they really play the high pitched vocals card.Anyway, if you watched all the videos, there goes your afternoon. Enjoy!

well, according to the rumors, they broke up and got back together (which gave Claudio time to do a quick solo project) and they should be entering the studio pretty soon.

saw them one time at the warped tour, kind of by accident they started as we were walking by the stage. I stopped and loved the entire set.

They are awesome live. Back when they first came out, Claudio's voice was a little shakey and they rushed through their songs. But now, 5 years later they've really refined their style and found their niche.
It's wierd to see all of these people at their shows, I didn't even think they were all that popular.

they were awesome, i'm not loving how they've softened their sound, the first two albums rule and sstb reminds me of being in college sooo much.
i remember when the good apollo graphc novel came out and i rushed to the comic shop on the thursday it came out to pick up copies for me and all my friends.
Wow for someone who says they are coheeds bigest fan, yopu really dont know all that much about them!!
I love coheed with a passion and i dont understand the full story behind the albums. I dont think anyone really fully understands as nobody is supposed to. Yes i have read the graphic noval, yes i have all the magazines, yes i have researched as deeply as possible to try to fully understand the awesome story of coheed and cambria and as iv said, i dont think it is possible!!!
If you listen to shabuti you can understand yet more about this awesome story and since you dont mention shabuti, i dont suppose you even know about them. Shabuti Was the former name of the band and holds the original story.
As you said in one of your comments on here [quote] well, according to the rumors, they broke up and got back together (which gave Claudio time to do a quick solo project) and they should be entering the studio pretty soon[quote] IF you are as big a fan as you say you are you would know the "rumers" are so untrue!!! Coheed have never split up completly. Band members have left but through this time they have continued to write new material.
"a quick solo prject" This it what really made me laugh as clearly, little to your knowlage, it took claudio 7 years to make this album and it was a side project wich yes he made on his own.
Sorry to dig at you on your page but it really annoys me when people claim to be the biggest fan of a band and then blurt a load of crap out wich naive people will believe!!! If you want to know more visit WWW.wiki.com
Love the band but please, please dont bragg you know all
