I dont know if all of you who posted a comment to my blog took it wrong or your all just very young. All that I was saying is these bands come around every few years trying to bank on bands of the past. As far as my taste goes it is a shame you didnt bother reading my MOG if you did you would know what type of music I listen to. Assume all you like
If there was no music, what would we have to save our minds? As teens these days get screwed by these so called new bands Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco and so on, what the hell are they thinking? In the new Rolling Stone there is a story on Panic At the Disco! What the hell they want to do a show have a theme wear the make up. I know as most of you here on mog do, this has been done before. Alice Cooper, New York Dolls, Bowie, KISS! Hell even Marilyn Manson came out acting like Ziggy Star Dust. Why sell kids today the same old show with some really crappy music. I will admit if I would have never seen Frank Black on Night Tracks or PJ Harvey on Friday night videos who knows who I would be listening to. If todays bands was what I had to grow up with I would rather be dead.

If you read some of my posts, you will see I completely agree. However, no one will know who is Panic is in five years so that helps me sleep at night.
This music is not aimed at you, you old coot. If music was the same as it was then we wouldn't have gotten anywhere. So if you don't like it, fuck off and shove it.
Go back to your Bee Gees and KISS.
I'd rather listen to Britney Spears and Panic! At The Disco than some old fuck that has that same mentality mocked in so many mediums. Did you walk to school in the snow barefoot too, grandpa?
