Nathan and I went to see the Arctic Monkeys in Tempe's Marquee Theatre on Friday night. I had seen them just last week at Austin City Limits but wanted to see them headline a club show.
While the set list was about the same, the band was much more active on stage. The burned through their songs at a grueling pace. The show ended at 10:30pm, just under 90 intense minutes.
The band played all their hits in addition to one new song, which sounded great! Once again, the Arctic Monkeys represented well live. They showed how they can duplicate everything they do on their album tracks in a live setting with just four people. I also enjoyed the Arctic Monkeys club experience much more than the stadium one.
