The Arctic Monkeys played ACL's AMD stage towards the end of day 2. The band was very tight and played through their best and most popular songs. However, the group was not as animate on stage as I would have expected from a young, three-chord punk style band (though the drummer looked like he earned his paycheck a few times over).
That said, their songs were still tight, fast, and catchy. The crowd seemed to agree.
Set list: Vampires / This House is a Circus, Brianstorm
Still Take You Home, Dancing Shoes, From the Ritz to the Rubble, Fake Tales of San Francisco, Old Yellow Bricks, I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, Flourescent Adolescent, Teddy Picker, If You Were There Beware, The View from the Afternoon, When the Sun Goes Down, A Certain Romance.
