WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

I Interrupt This Widget to Bring You The Knife

Posted over 3 years ago
As many already know and are envious of me for, tomorrow I have the pleasure of seeing The Knife play in SF. BTW, did anyone else on MOG get to attend one of the Webster Hall shows? So, since I'm up super early and on MOG, I thought I'd list the TOP 5 songs off of each album that I'd like to hear in the order of importance. Here goes:Album: Deep Cuts1. Pass This On2. You Make Me Like Charity3. Heartbeats4. Is it Medicine5. You Take My Breath AwayAlbum: Hannah Med H (Hanna without the 'H') Movie Sountrack1. Listen Now2. Handyman3. New Year's Eve4. At the Cafe`5. The BridgeAlbum: The Knife Self-titled1. N.Y. Hotel2. Reindeer3. I Just Had to Die4. I Take Time5. KinoAlbum: Silent Shout - the latest release that got everyone to jump on The Knife bandwagon.1. We Share Our Mother's Health2. Neverland 3. Like A Pen4. Silent Shout5. Marble HouseIt would be even more fantastic if Karin were to shove her brother off stage and the remaining band members of her original indie rock band, Honey Is Cool, appeared to play a set off their self-titled album:1. When He Kissed Me2. I Surprise3. Bolero4. If I Go5. HaakonAnd, furthermore, any concert would be better with a David Bowie appearance. No matter how weird or misrepresented. :D

  9. terese says yeah, sounds like it. Suppose I might see you there. BTW - are cameras allowed at this place? Also, how far is it off of Market St?

  10. 82times says easy walking off market. ...the venue itself is at two streets that are more like big alleys, though....so its easy to miss unless you're paying attention to the street signs.
