WE DO THE MASHED POTATO AND THE FUNKY CHICKEN

Stuff your head in a bag

Posted over 2 years ago
This song, by Anna Nalick, was just added to my collection of music. It hit me that most people wish that at one point or another wish to hide from the world, which is what she is discussing in the song. I really like this one and I hope you guys do too!!

  1. Rawkkiddoh says I think it happens quite often, every now and then each one of us needs to hide from the world. As for the song, top notch

  11. chucky says She sounds like Alanis Morrisette to me. How odd. Good though.

  12. teejaleo says a little like Alanis, which was also played this evening...lol. But she is a little more subtle with her pain, unlike Alanis who is an angry lady.

  13. Ashleyness says I really liked that, and i love breathe (2am) so i was thinking about getting the cd, what do you think?

  14. teejaleo says I would definately recommend the CD. Anna Nalick is the perfect type of music to drive to, which is something I look for in a lot of my music. In fact, I almost picked up the CD this weekend (along with about 7 other ones) but instead I got Snow Patrols first album, a decission I am not upset about lol. Anyhoo, the album rocks and I have most of the songs on it, so, in conclusion, yes I think you should pick it up lol

  15. Ashleyness says awesome, I'll have to add it to the ever-growing list, lol. And yeah, not a bad decision going with the first Snow Patrol album, I'm a big fan of that CD too. :)

  16. darmuzz says Good one, teejaleo. I like EVERY song on her album. Have you noticed she has this thing for 3-syllable words in the choruses: there is "Citadel," "Satellite" and "Catalyst" not to mention "Digame"? Ashleyness, this album is pretty smooth, I like it as a change from my loud stuff.

  17. teejaleo says Do you have the expanded version of the CD? If not you should definately look into those songs, they are really good.

  18. darmuzz says I had no idea there was an expanded edition. I will find those tracks! Thankx teej!!

  19. Ashleyness says thanks dar, i'm probably the opposite of you, i love the smoother stuff, but if you have any good loud stuff you want to pass along feel free. I'm always looking for something new. :)
