Things That Make Me Feel That Way

I heard this song for the first time a couple weeks ago. But it came out back in 2002. I chose "Make You Feel That Way" as my January Song of the Month in another music community I belong to. January was a surprisingly good month. A lot of positive things happened. There was that week of 60+ degree weather here, I got a new job, came across some extra cash. It was a month full of a few good days,

The one song I don't mind listening to over and over again is Set the Fire to the Third Bar by Snow

I Guess It's Christmas Time

I woke up this morning to snow covered streets. Pittsburgh's first real snowfall of the year. I guess it's that time of year again. To celebrate the occasion, I thought I'd share my favorite Christmas song. It always reminds me of home. Christmas Ain't Christmas by the O'Jays.I had an urge to listen to this song last week, only to find I didn't have it in my music collection and Pandora had never

The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Saul Williams
over 4 years ago

My first MOG post. Yay. So I first heard of Saul Williams when I was 13 and reading anthologies of slam poetry like Slam . I remember clever little sentences in the margins with "Saul Williams" written under them. Of course I became an instant fan. I caught wind of The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust! when I was doing research for a class actually. Some article had listed it as a
