Awhile back, nearly a year ago, there was a Northern Soul event in the 'burgh. DJs were spinning old soul tracks that were popular in the UK during the 60s.
I couldn't go to the event, but I did download some sample mixes from the website. I think they're still available for download. You can find them at Never Souled Out. There are 3 mixes up. I think they run about an half hour each.
I was so impressed with a song in one of these mixes, I decided to hunt it down. It took forever, and I ended up getting the group's entire discography just to find this one song.
