Here is the title track of the "Renegade" release from Thin Lizzy in 1981. The members were: Philip Lynott,Scott Gorham,Brian Downey & Snowy White. Enjoy this fantastic song... ..LYRICS: He's just a boy that his lost his way He's a rebel that has fallen down He's a fool been blown away To you and me he's a renegade

He's a clown that we put down He's a man that doesn't fit He's a king but not in this town To you and me he's a renegade

But he is a king when he's on his own He's got a bike and that's his throne And when he rides he's like the wind To you and me he's a renegade

He's just a boy who has lost his sights

He's a stranger, prowls the night He's a devil, that's right To you and me he's a renegade

Check it out, check his face Look at his eyes, they're so sly I wonder why he cries from the inside I wonder why he's a renegade

Oh please, i'm on my begged bended knees Oh please, please heed my call He's just a boy that has lost his way He's just a boy, that's all . Philip Lynott

you know .....i've liked every guitarist switch-up in thin lizzy. never said the first were the best ..any of that ...each change brought something new/different. phil lynott.. the voice.. his bass playing. his words. the core and heartbeat of thin lizzy remained the same all the guitarists that came and went were brilliant choices/additions. oh.....one more opinion you may or may not agree with... live and dangerous has to be near the top of the list for best live recording of all time. it could not be made better...timeless? we'll find out. thanks for the post tangerman !!! ya picked a good track!! you moggers have had me digging out thin lizzy albums for a month or better now.....it's a damn good thing that.....

i'm sorry i completely forgot! The lights went out on Mog for me for days and i just remembered... I dunno.... does this stuff kick it or what? 1978 live and it sounds unbelievable.... these songs really deserve a post by themselves.... Thanks for putting me back on track with this band that just plain and simple ruled their day.

I didn`t notice those two marvellous tracks!! Thanks "yummygatalover"! I agree! Those really deserve a post on their own :-) The magic in Lynott`s voice, combined with those guitars...AMAZING combination! " Sha-La-La-La-La-La-la-La-La" Rocks like hell!! And the fact that it was 30 years ago....
