PETER BAUMANN
Peter Baumann was member of the legendary line up of Froese-Franke-Baumann in Tangerine Dream (1972-1977). This was the groups most innovative period and for many, their best period and line up.
During those years Tangerine Dream played concerts in various cathedrals in Europe (Rheims Cathedral,France,Coventry Cathedral and York U.K, and several others). The group got banned from playing more cathedrals, cause many in the audience smoked harder and stronger cigarettes than Marlboro Light!
The concert venues (Cathedrals) was also packed with people, that the local councils said it was unsafe to let TD play in those places again.
Peter Baumann released 4 solo albums and 1 collection. "Meridian Moorland" is taken from his second album TRANS HARMONIC NIGHTS.
In the late 80`s he formed his own record company in the U.S., called Private Music. His "old" band Tangerine Dream, signed his label for 5 albums.

Very nice. Still think Romance 76 is his mangum opus, but anything Baumann is worth the price of admission.
