Frank Tovey aka Fad Gadget

08.09.1956 - 03.04.2002

Returned "Back to Nature", a cherished man, sadly missed by us all.

.................................. Under The Flag II .................................. Young man, go out And take what's yours, don't doubt There's strength in numbers, walk on Defend the meek, headstrong ..................................

Now the story's become a bore I don't want to hear it anymore It's by no means an immaculate conception Too many bodies lying around Pushing daisies out the ground And the church is cashing in on resurrection ..................................

Well I tried so hard to please you 'Cos I know that you crave blood Consumer credit carnivores And now the masses have been fed Suck the offal from the dead Now the joker's here to pick the sores

Under the flag

Under the flag boy Under what flag?

Many Techno/Dance Bands of the 80's/90s Had Been Influenced By Frank Tovey. Vince Clark Has mentioned frank Tovey as a major influence, As did Chris Low Of the Pet Shop Boys. Bernard Sumner from New Order. Most People In Electronic Music Scene Of The Time, were Usually Confused By His Black Humour and Disregard For style. Since image/Style Was A Big Thing At The Time. his live shows were legendary, Always A Great Surprise For the Fans Since They Never Knew What To Expect. He Would cover Himself from head to toe in shaving foam or tarred and feathered. http://www.fadgadget.co.uk/ "R.I.P Frank"
