The new Magic Numbers album is really great - except a few boring songs in the middle. Worth a few spins in the ole disc player if you have it.

I decided to listen to Damien Rice this morning on the way to work. I haven't managed to get very far from the sad and beautiful other than a few brief interludes with Season 1 of "The Office." I distinctly heard a cello on more than one track. Most of them, I swear, I have heard on various movie and TV soundtracks, though they don't all seem to be listed in IMDB. The one from "Closer" stands out
