Ah.. the wonderful W.O.W. Hall.. Anyways, I saw this band their over a year ago. They are really good, but they need to get their shit together. Halfway thru their set, the bass player stops, says, "I can't do this anymore...I'm bored," leaves the stage, grabs his girl, and runs. The singer plays one more song, a sappy one at that, and starts crying and hides under the stage. Jeez, talk about moodkill. The whole night kinda left me with a bad taste in my mouth... I felt like asking for a refund for my ticket, but the W.O.W. Hall is non-profit, and that wouldn't be right.
I chatted with these guys after their set at the W.O.W. Hall one night. They opened for Built to Spill, and went down to the bar afterwards. I can't remember the girl's name(bass player/vocals), but she was really nice. Their named the Prids because her ex used to call her priddy priddy prid...(like pretty pretty..). If you like the Cure, check these kids out.

I'm giving them a run right now. Theres a chance I'll get at least the EP from iTunes.
I saw Juliette both times she came to Eugene! She is so rad. I got her to sign my cd, as well as everyone else in the band. Then, the second time I saw her, I got a guitar pick from their drummer, Slippy Womack. I had so much fun, and I got so drunk, they 86'd me from the bar. Hahaha....

I wonder how you would feel about them had you not been drunk. The world may never know.

Did ... did that really happen to Pinback?
That is ... insane.
Yes, it really did happen. It was Nov. 24, 2004, and Neil Hamburger opened for them. He sucks. He told this really long crappy joke about anthony keidis walking into a bar and asking for heroin. It went on for what seemed like forever. I thought I was going to die.
