I recently made a post on my own blog about how Pharell shouldn't even try with his solo debut, but against my wishes it's going to happen.
So I grabbed the album, figured I'd check it out before passing too harsh judgement, but mostly the album is extremely forgetable with the beats being it's only real saving grace.
He's just as annoying as ever, extremely reatarded lyrics, little "stories" of his that more then likely completely fabricated, and boasting and dropping little nothings of his sexual prowess. At least Jason Mraz is somewhat subtle with his sex infatuation.
Maybe you're asking yourself, "Maybe I should buy/download it to form my own opinion", of course you're should -- but you're going to want the hour and four minutes you spent forcing yourself to listen to this dreck back.
Should have kept producing sub-par stolen arcade game kiddy beats? Damn straight.
I still think any rapper/pop "artist"/whoever should really re-think paying the Neptunes 500k for a beat, because let's be honest they haven't had a hit worth while since whatever Jay-Z beat they did.
[[Might post something on my .com blog a little later, I'm just killing time.]]
