I am listening to Blue Screen Life right now and it is totally bringing me back to my high school days. I would get home from school and put this album on repeat while I tried to dive into nothingness. Rob Crow has given us so many strange albums but this was his first band, that i know of at least, with a structure fit for the masses. If you haven't heard Pinback, don't limit yourself to Blue Screen life as all the albums are very consistent. Melodic melodies, dramatic chord changes and corny lyrics make this bass driven duo a huge love of mine.

Yes! A recent find for me. The bass line on Penelope is great! Another favorite of mine is Fortress on Summer in Abaddon.

Yeah, I think once a friend introduced me to Pinback I spent the first day downloading all the albums and the rest of the summer listening to them nonstop. I've been hard pressed to find other Pinback fans though! And I've been wanting to check out the other projects by these guys, but keep getting distracted or can't find them.

I saw pinback at the wow hall two years ago and they broke up onstage(obviously not permanently). The whole night was strange. Neil hamburger opened for them and was heckled by the audience. People were telling him to go kill his self. I felt sorry for him, though. He was not very funny.
