an epiphany

Posted over 5 years ago
i have been thinking about brightblack morning light lately, as i had recently compiled my top 10.... and found myself thinking about their name, and why i always twist my tongue speaking it, and twist my fingers typing it. and then, just the other day: an epiphany.i was coming home from dropping my friends at the airport at the godforesaken hour of 6:45 a.m.on a saturday. as i drove north on i-5, listening to beth orton's "daybreaker" (it seemed appropriate) i looked at the beautiful, sunless morning sky, and wondered how i would describe the color. it was brightblack morning light. my tongue- and finger-twisting (but not finger-crossing!) are over.

  2. superjaimee says Supertop, I can't recommend Ms. Orton enogh. Central Reservation would be my recommendation for the indoctrination of the fascination... ok, done being Cajun Man! :-)
