Re-discovered this gem while living in a small town on the Sea of Japan. One grey day I stopped in at the local used CD shop and happened across a brand new copy of Yo La Tengo's 1997 release I CAN HEAR THE HEART BEATING AS ONE. It so fit the mood I did all my driving errands for the month that day just so I could maximize my time in complete aural comfort -- warm and dry while rain kept tempo on the car roof.

Rainy days in the Shenandoah Valley fit well too, it turns out.
