At Fuji Rock Festival 04. Was shuffling down the hill to the next gig and stopped at a little tent for some hot noodles. There was this white dude in an old grey suit producing some killer blues licks on harp and I had to sit down and take it in. He'd beat-box and play at the same time, all whilst keeping polyrhythms on foot and hand-shaker. I couldn't believe the sounds this one guy was creating. Multitasking proficiency! Turns out he had two mics set up with some pedals and was looping his beats. Very appealing sound. He said he's from Canada and he sold me a CD. Looking forward to his next project...
