Jason Upton is very adept at combining ministry and artistry. I have several of his albums and he is, in my humble opinion, one of the best worship leader/artists out there. He doesn't fall into the regular CCM category and he doesn't fall into the hillsong/Chris Tomlin/David Crowder band category either. He doesn't sound like a worship leader that would come from one of the many mega churches with the "updated modern sound".

His sound is all his own and so is the ministry style. Definitely worth taking a listening too if you find yourself wanting more than the average status quo "modern sound" for worship that is currently out there.
