yes i thought about that............no you really shouldn't. they only have meaning to me from a nolstalgic standpoint. back in their day they had an interesting take on the new orleans sound( though a bit challanged ala white man can't jump). their roots were developed in 70's at frat parties on tulane university campus. their portly keyboard player ed volker is an interesting man who has written a ton of songs.

the Rads were a fave in the late 80s and early 90s. They just didn't continue to put out enough good new music to keep up the interest. Seen them a few times at the Great American acoustic. They are a great New Orleans tradition. Ed Volker has lotsa soul.

agreed. plus their sound guy sucks.....the dummy who doubles as a bad MC. the last time i was at GAMH, i was driven away due to hearing loss
