  2. B42 says I only have Mermaid Avenue in my Library and I know that's a poor example of their work, great album but not Wilco per se, so what's your favorite Steve?

  4. steve simon says jameson, right on my friend. 42, get being there and yankee hotel foxtrot, but for god sakes get every uncle tupelo album there is, it frames the whole thing, tweedy and jay farrar's( get son volt's brilliant first disc "trace" too, it is stunning) incredible collaboration on the ground breaking alt country/punk killer stuff that is Uncle Tupelo. all of you listen to the 97 fillmore and tell me that is not rock n roll
