a quick blip on the always epic Hardly, Strictly bluegrass festival in lovely speedway meadow at GG park. the 07' line up is incredible(http://www.strictlybluegrass.com/). god bless the generous warren hellman for throwing the best free music fest in the world. off in a bit for the mid day triple threat of john prine, keller williams and bela, but i did catch jeff tweedy solo to close friday's opening day. jeff with just his guitar and occasional harmonica did stripped down versions of Suken Treasure, forget the flowers, new madrid( hooray), i'm the man who loves you, theologians, california stars and such. very well done though he tends to come off more elitist and ego driven everytime i see him( oh, that's right, this is the music business)

That sounds much better than the biker convention my town is having. I love bluegrass. Apparently there is a lot of it produced here in the ozarks and yet there are almost never any bands playing around here. Have fun Steve.
