I swear I'm going to be the last person to see them. On MOG at least.

I'm going through a bunch of recent videos of Muse because I'm in a Muse-mood and I'm super excited to see them in April. I came across this one that made me laugh because Matt is such a DORK:

but I love him anyway because of this:

Total listed here: 24

Total of concerts that I have real ticket stubs for: 21

Last year’s number of concerts: 22

Most legendary concert this year: Franz Ferdinand @ Jimmy Kimmel because I don’t think I’ll ever be in the front row to see them.

The band that put a smile on my face the WHOLE time while watching ‘em: The Spinto Band. Even if you don’t like their songs, I think anyone would be delighted by watching those boys perform. I want them back in L.A. ASAP.

Most underwhelming show: Ringside. Although I had a great spot to watch Ringside at the Troubador, I was bored during portions of the show. I was more excited about Brian Bell from Weezer being there than watching the band.

Most “that was about fucking time I saw them” moment: The Strokes.

Most physically exhausting show: It’s a tie between The Strokes and Muse at Inland Invasion. For the Strokes show, I was all over the place, dancing, and screaming my head off. Muse, my neck hurt so bad and I was also screaming my head off too. I am more than sure that the next time I see Muse, I won’t have a voice the following day.

Worst opening act: French Kicks. They deserve my Counting Crows-boo. And Lavendar Diamond annoyed me after about three songs into their set.

Best designed stage set-up: Sufjan Stevens.

Show that was truly one of a kind and continues to remind me how pissed off I am that I only saw them once this year: Editors.

Best We Are Scientists show: tied between April 1st El Rey show and Sept. 28 San Diego one. The El Rey one was the happiest I’ve ever seen them. The San Diego one made me laugh so hard because the banter was so funny.

Show with too many goddamn hipsters: the Arctic Monkeys/W.A.S. show at the Wiltern. And the ones at the Editors gig pissed me off too.

Best audience: Scissor Sisters. I love the gay mens so much. I mean there were a lot at Goldfrapp too, but they were all so fabulous at Scissor Sisters.

Awesome! I was right in front of Paul. That was an amazing show, huh? I only wish it could've gone on longer, even though it was longer than I expected. :)
