Better late than never

My German is a bit rusty (ja, mein deutsch ist sehr schlecht), and in this German speaking trailer of The Notwist documentary, I can only understand the conversations about the weather.As you might've guessed, the mystery will be revealed in its entirety — On|Off The Record is a full-length feature with English subtitles (thank goodness). Shot in 2002 by Joerg Adolph over 70 days during the production of Neon Golden. A must for all The Notwist fans.

    82times says whoa! that's awesome! thank you for the heads up on this. I was so lucky to discover them out of the throw-away bin at my college radio station sometime in 1997 or 1998. It was a CD of _12_ that came with a bonus EP of B-sides and alt versions. oooooh I loved that album so much (even more than _Neon Golden_, if you can believe that). It has more rock songs on it. People always asked me what the sounded like and I would say "it's like if Kraftwerk did indie rock" and then people looked happy and satisfied. I can't find that CD anywhere and it is a great sadness.

    standard13 says Thanks ilcv for the Styrofoam hint (there wasn't even an inkling in my mind). And 82times, if you're in the consumer mood, you can still get 12 from the official Notwist store though it's only a regular pressing. However, Amazon in Germany has 12 with the Loud EP (the one you spoke of) as new (Neu) and secondhand (Gebraucht). And who said that money can't buy happiness.
