This is my first post on Mog and I'd like to make it about a band called Meg & Dia.If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and check them out. I first found about them when I stumbled upon their set at the Ventura Warped Tour in the My Space tent and was so blown away by the set that I caught them again at the Pomona Warped Tour. I saw them my third time at the Purevolume loft party in NYC for the CMJ showcase where they were again, ridiculously impressive. They have a very commanding presence live, which I find is something that is hard to come by nowadays. Off the top of my head, if I had to compare them to anyone, I'd say that they have the harmonizing skills of Tegan and Sara and the energy and passion of Paramore and Underoath. As for their songwriting, it is so original and poignant that I can't think of anyone to compare them to. Songs to check out: Monster and Roses. (and just a last note, if you live on the west coast they are currently touring with Daphne Loves Derbie, Ronnie Day, and House of Fools, so you should check that out).

If you're obsessed with Meg & Dia, don't hide it lol. I can name a few people off the top of my head that are insanely obsessed with this band. I can't blame them though!
