Slagsmålsklubben, say what?

As amazing as the Air Traffic show was last night (more on that later), I am, in retrospect, SO upset that I missed Slagsmålsklubben's set earlier this week at the same venue/same festival bill. If you're asking "Who the fuck is Slagsmålsklubben and how do you even pronounce that!?" fret not, because I asked myself the exact same thing. I tried to browse through their website, but their blog is unfortunately written entirely in Swedish. Thanks to good old Wikipedia though, I found out that Slagsmålsklubben (often referred to as SMK) is a literal Swedish translation of book/film The Fight Club. The six piece that focuses on live electronic club music has released three albums so far within the genres of synth and bitpop. If you're into, broadly -- we'll just say Daft Punk or Justice, then give SMK a listen because you're sure to find at least one song that makes you want to dance.
