I'm not really so sure where I first heard of Sleater-Kinney. I think it might have been in a comic from Diesel Sweeties back in 2001 though.
I do remember that "You're No Rock 'n Roll Fun" was the first song of theirs to really grab my attention.
The song sounds fun.
The lyrics are fun
You're no rock n' roll fun like a party that's over before it's begun You're no walk in the park more like a shot in the dark with clues left for no one
Basically, it makes me smile to listen to it. And that's saying something.
