The instrumentation reminds me of another Portuguese group called V Imperio
She certainly has a beautiful voice! Nicely colored in the lower range, clear and airy in the upper range. Aside from guitars, is there some type of a squeeze box in there? Is there a hammered dulcimer (cimbalom)?
ok, V Império it's a nice band but it's a little more pop music and doesn't have this mistical sound. Madredeus it's like a mixture of Fado with popular music but with this magical touch of the guitar, Pedro Ayres Magalhaes it's a genius playing.
I forgott to tell the name of this track "Maio maduro maio" it's the first music from the 2nd cd of "Filhos da Madrugada cantam José Afonso"
