Randy Fitzwho?

Artist: The Hives

So does anybody have the scoop on The Hives and this Randy Fitzsimmons character? I've heard that he writes all their songs and manages the band. I've also heard that, although The Hives deny it, he is just a cover--not even a real person [something to do with the rights of their songs?]. So what'll it be? Any ideas?

[and if this has been previously discussed...sorry! I couldn't find it anywhere though and have always wondered about it....]

The Black and White Album

I left school at lunch with a friend, drove to a whole other town and practically ran to the record store to buy the Hives' new CD, The Black and White Album on its first day out. My friend even brought his laptop and we loaded up our iPods before going back to school.

And I must say,

IT WAS SO WORTH IT!

A bit different than their others, but it may be my new favorite.
Oh, and their album cover is pretty kickass too:

In Rainbows--Radiohead

Artist: Radiohead Album: In Rainbows Track: 15 Steps

I have never really been able to "get into" Radiohead. I've tried, believe me. I listened to most of their alubums and bought Ok Computer after my brother assured me it was the best album of all time, but it still didn't click.

So when In Rainbows came out, I thought maybe this was my chance. Try, try again, right?

SUCCESS!
I've heard people express that In Rainbows draws too much from their older albums, but luckily for me I never thoroughly enjoyed those, so it's all pretty new and exciting. Never skipped a track.

And I can't stop playing 15 Steps. It may be my favorite.

I'd just post the mp3 but the upload always freezes about half-way through, so...
