This couldn't wait until Friday. We know (and thank) EWF for the classic, the meaningful, and the lovely. But at several points in their astounding career, these cats could lay down the hammer like nobody's business. This is a track I'd forgotten about, even though EWF's early South Side Chicago sound is what resonates with me most. Sure, "Devotion" and "Kalimba Song" and "September" all are nice and pleasant. I can enjoy them with family and my mom with a nice glass of wine. But I keep trying to tell y'all I'm just a grimy kind of dude. So when EWF slathers the chicken grease like they did on "Remember the Children," I drop Mom off at home, turn off all the lights, pull out the hard liquor, and just roll raw dog style.I listened to this eight times in a row before I posted here, just because this almost is too retarded for words. This and "Power," the track immediately preceding, may be the hardest 12 minutes EWF ever recorded. Wow!!!No, really; Wow!!!P&L,Soultronica
