I'm running an older Mac PowerBook as my main computer. The unit is fine, but when laptops get older (i.e. > 2.5 years), things begin to break down. My optical drive (i.e. DVD burner) has been dead for about a year now, but it isn't worth the $400 or so to have Apple fix it.The problem is the drive has been out for about a year, which means I haven't loaded any new music into my iTunes software in about a year. I have *stacks and stacks* of beats and sounds that never have been put in the iTunes queue.I've felt sonically constipated for quite a while. (And even though I do roll CD style when traveling, I'm in front of my computer much more.)But relief (in the form of a new, external optical drive) has arrived courtesy of Amazon.com. This could mean a veritable torrent of ripping, burning, writing, and posting activity over the next few weeks. I apologize in advance if you get sick of the Soultronica steez, but I won't be able to control myself. In the meantime, please enjoy MeShell a bit.P&L,Soultronica
