2nd post on the blue beat label, a division of melodisc records in the uk specialising in jamaican r&b & ska music. the record label became so popular in the sixties that the term ska was also known as bluebeat for a time and later it was used for only-uk ska bands. blue beat got the jamaican monopoly for jamaican music until the arrival of island records in 1962.
prince buster was probably the greatest artist of that time. he got a deal with blue beat and most of his jamaican catalogue was released in the uk.

i know prince of peace is not an instant hit as al capone at first listen, but listen to lyrics... "prince of peace, coming from the east, flying like a butterfly, sting like a bee". I mean, thats total genius.
