Thanks to Ohm51 for the recipe (I'm trying it in the morning!) The kids I nanny are 9 and 12, so they are pretty stubborn about their terrible music. But I'm trying to be a good influence on them! :)Can someone tell me how I can upload that leadbelly track? Whenever I try it says that the file is too small...:(One of my best friends got married today. Seems quite strange, being only 18 and having my friends off getting married..In other news, The Flaming Lips are going to Lawrence next week...and I'm thinking it's pretty necessary I go, yes?

  2. Petey Lapides says I just tried uploading the song to MOG, and I'm stuck at ".0%", no explanations offered. I can't get anyone's red buttons to play music tonight either. So either I'm trapped on a lonely island of dysfunctional computer performance, or MOG's got another cold. On the other hand, David Hyman did say at the start of the "strike" that MOG would be getting an overhaul starting just about now.

  3. Petey Lapides says . . *Good, Good, Good (Talking, Preaching) / We Shall Walk Thru the Valley (medley)* . Everything seems a-okay now at MOG. Or it's gotten so late my roommate is done hogging the bandwidth with porn downloads and has moved on to other late night rituals.

  4. Ohm51 says Good looking out for the upload Petey ... I had never heard the Flapjack Sermon before. sordidhipster~ You are most welcome and you will not regret trying that recipe. I should probably offer a few minor amendments though. If you are feeding more than 2 you should probably make a double batch. Always put the milk in first before you crack the eggs, a minor thing but it does make a slight difference, and add the baking soda to the flour and rough mix it before adding that to the liquid ingredients. That way the baking soda gets trapped inside the flour and gives a better reaction. My previous musical suggestions would not be apt for 9 and 12 year old kids, I was imagining toddlers; and at that age we were all stubborn about the stuff we liked, so I guess you will just have to influence by your good example. Lastly, on getting the technical aspects of the MOG down, Bartleby has been kind enough to assemble a set of guides on his MOG page, look for them just under his photo. Happy Flapjacks Ohm
